Yes, the filtration of body sealer is a preferred application for LENZING OptiFil.

The use of low differential pressures enables the filtration of sealer particles.

Efficient backwashing and the use of plastic fabrics with improved (less) adhesion enable long filter fabric replacement intervals.

LENZING OptiFil requires only a flat, and therefore inexpensive, filter fabric. This is usually replaced only after several thousand backwashes and several months of operation.

The largest LENZING OptiFil (OptiFil-350-1080) manages around 400 m³/h.

Precision fabrics with 50 µm openings are typically used in degreasing baths. The actual filter fineness changes within a filtration cycle, which often lasts between 20 minutes and one hour, as a particle layer builds up, so that particles down to the single-digit micrometer range are ultimately separated.
