For applications requiring finer filtration due to formation permeability or injectivity requirements, LENZING CakeFil provides filtration down to 1 µm at significantly lower operating costs than cartridge-based polishing systems.

For equipment with complex geometries and compact dimensions, such as the LENZING OptiFil, Duplex or Super Duplex stainless steels are typically used. For larger and mechanically less complex systems such as the LENZING CakeFil, hard rubber lining provides the most cost-effective corrosion protection solution. The CakeFil filter candles are made entirely of corrosion-resistant plastic materials.

Particularly in the field of fine filtration, the LENZING OptiFil offers the smallest installation volume per unit of flow rate compared to other filtration systems with a similar separation performance. Alternative technologies often require significantly larger equipment and more complex integration into the process. This makes the OptiFil ideally suited for applications with limited available space, such as those commonly encountered on offshore platforms.
